Julia Jackson comes from a winemaking family; she practically grew up picking and sorting grapes, which give her a great understanding of the business and processes. She and her family are determined to grow the family business to the highest point. Julia currently holds the position of the spokesman for Cambria Estate Winery that she runs together with her mother and sister. Julia attended Scripps College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art. She also received a summer certificate from globally known Stanford Summer Institute of General Management.

Jackson Family Wines produces a variety of wines from their wineries in locations, such as Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, and Monterey among others. Some of their brands include Anakta, cenyth, and Verite among others from Sonoma County winery. According to Julia Jackson, the Verite brand is the best wine from Sonoma. The wine, which is released three times in a year, La-joie, La Muse, and Le Desir, has always had the highest score. For nine times, wine critic Robert Parker has rated the brand at 100 points, which is the highest recognition for Sonoma.

Philanthropy

Julia’s grandmother founded Cambria Estate Winery in 1987. Julia Jackson grew up viewing her mother as her role model. Even today, she admires how she has been able to run the family business. This was the source of the inspiration to start a program that honors and empowers women across the globe. Cambria Seeds of Empowerment came to being in 2014. The program celebrates women who have succeeded despite many adversities facing them. It also honors women who are working hard at pulling others up with their inspiring stories. It also celebrates women who are strong in leadership. Cambria Seeds of Empowerment doles outs $100,000 each year to non-profit organizations that uphold togetherness.
