Nurtimost Suing Rival Weight Loss Company for Pirated Video

One of the most popular new weight loss programs on the market today is the centerpiece of a legal battle. One company, Nutrimost, is suing the other, Healthy Living, for allegedly stealing their intellectual property in the form of a promotional video that Nutrimost had posted on their site. Legal representatives of Nutrimost claim that Healthy Living stole a promotional video off of their website and used it almost to completion on their site in order to attract new customers. They claim that the only changes that Healthy Living made in the video were removing the Nutrimost name and altering their weight loss slogan. Nutrimost even sent Healthy Living a cease and desist letter last September regarding the video. Healthy Living did not adhere to request at first. They later took the video down and replaced it with a shortened and edited version of the video that still used stolen content from the Nutrimost site. The video is not currently up on the Healthy Living website at this time. The diet program at the center of this legal battle is a fairly new plan that has been gaining a lot of steam recently because of the results that it has given people. Some people have reported losing up to a pound a day for the first 40 days that they used the plan. It uses the Nutrimost Resonant Frequency (NRF) and spiritual guidance to help cultivate a weight loss plan for each individual. Nutrimost is suing Healthy Living for $300,000 to cover the damages to the reputation to their image that they say the video theft caused. They also want a court order directed at Healthy Living that will prevent the website from using the video again. The video used the same testimonials from customers and doctors that the original used. Neither company has been available for comment up to this point regarding the matter.
